Used stirrups are reshaped and polished
New holes are added for rivets.
Stirrups looking like new
Sole and heel are cut off boot with bandsaw
Uneven surfaces are cleaned up.
New midsole is traced.
Rubber is rough cut.
Rubber glue is applied
After proper drying time, midsole is hammered on.
Midsole is sanded flush.
Heel wedge is prepared.
Stirrup is riveted on and wedge is glued in place.
Layers of rubber are glued on and sanded flush.
Boots are ready for a trip to the City.
